DIY Firewood Storage Rack | Free printable plans on buildsomething.com | Keep your fireplace stocked with this firewood storage rack. The lower area holds your fire logs securely, while the upper area is a great place for keeping kindling. You can build one in just a couple of hours using four boards, a miter saw (or circular saw), a jigsaw, a drill, and a Kreg Jig.
Enlist two rough and tumble boys to test the strength of your structure. (Good grief, how am I going to survive the next 10 years with these crazy boys?) .
Use this tool to help you estimate what shed size you should get based on how you want to use it and what items you want to keep there.
We LOVE our new shed!!The delivery was seamless... and extremely impressive. We couldn’t believe only one guy was doing it!Please share with the building crew that the construction is impeccable. My dad is extremely “particular” when it comes to construction as he usually does the work himself. He is SO impressed with the craftsmanship!Thank you again for all of your help. Working with you guys has been wonderful.
Keeping your firewood off the ground will prevent moisture from soaking into the bottom row of wood.
We LOVE our new shed from Recreation Unlimited! We chose a custom build-on-site due to space constraints in our back yard. The craftsmanship was excellent and working with the company was a breeze. They are very attention and pay attention to details. I would highly recommend!

Each material has its own cost, pros, and cons. Below are the most common costs associated with each material:
If you have a large enough shed, you could have it completely finished, wired for electricity, and plumbing run to it to create a tiny house. Because most of the costs are in the finishing, this would not be an inexpensive project unless you intend to do it yourself over time. Finishing costs will run around $125 a square foot, plus insulation, running the plumbing and electrical lines, and other interior finishing add even more costs, for a total of up to $250 a square foot. This assumes that you do not add square footage onto the shed because most sheds are only a single room and are not divided into kitchen, sleeping, and bathing areas. These houses are not legal to live in unless they are permitted and inspected, however. Get Local Cost
In 2007, an opportunity presented itself to open a location in Marietta, Georgia. Two employees from the Whitehall and Hamburg locations were transferred there to establish our 3rd location. Green Acres of Marietta has now grown considerably, and is firmly established.
Next, decide what style roof you prefer: We offer both peaked gable roof sheds and slanted lean-to roof styles. Finally, please take a look at the plan itself to make sure you understand the materials list, measured drawings, and directions before you commit.
Our kids love our new play set and everyone at Rec Unlimited was very professional and the installation guys did a great job. Thanks!
