If you’re like most people shopping for a shed, you have 3 main criteria on your mind: long-lasting quality, sufficient storage space, and a fair price. Here’s the good news: if you know where to look, you can have all 3! While The Backyard Showcase is primarily known for our Amish-built backyard structures, we also sell handcrafted storage sheds to homeowners just like you. Read our latest blog to learn about fair Amish shed prices — and to find the perfect shed that meets your needs. While you can get a bottom-of-the-barrel price on a hardware store shed, the quality simply won’t be there and you’ll end up replacing it a year or two later. Every single one of the sheds we sell are hand-built by skilled craftsmen in a workshop, and that’s why they can last up to 50 years. We break down what our average Amish shed prices are — and what you get for each price point.

With several years of life experience, many times you’ll have some type of disappointment. Sheds Unlimited process from start to finish was as pleasing as it gets. On delivery day they arrived when scheduled and finished a complete two stall garage build in one day. The building and assembling process is amazing. They are professional, courteous and very meticulous with their work. The job site was neat during the build and left as clean if not cleaner then found. I have no complaints and extremely happy with the product this company produced.
Hi Brittany, very good and inspiring plan. I built it with some modifications of my own, and about a quarter of it is reclaimed or repurposed wood. Mine’s the same depth but 8′ long and with roof 9′ long as shingles come in 3′ lengths. I went up a foot higher than yours and reversed the slope of the roof as mine is next to garage wall. Also, I used deck screws instead of nails and handled the footings a little differently. I’d send you pics but don’t see how to. Recommendation: tell folks to make their cuts in the tallest 4×4 before assembling the shed; much easier and safer that way. Regards, Wayne
Barns usually have a similar cost per square foot as sheds, but because they are much larger - around 1,000 sq.ft. on average - they have higher costs, starting at about $50,000 for a very basic structure.
